ebooks

Kindle is a walking encyclopedia, and runs off of signals like phones do....however live where there's not always a signal (south of seattle). With a sony, you have do download books on a computer first. does anyone have a kindle in this area? and how well does it work? I'm going for convience...

I download a lot of reading material from the library and various ebook sites. The audio books are always in wma format and I can't put them on my Ipod. Except for the sony reader and others that do not combine both, is there anything out there?

i really want to read the books but i'm still a student and i can't afford to buy one...so i just want to download it for free...thank you so much,,,,

I want to download some books from Internet for free, and it is difficult to find downloadable ebooks with Google.I used emule, I could download some ebooks with it. Is there any better software to download ebooks?

i was wondering if you need an internet connection to view a ebook thats already downloaded to you pc. And can u send e books to your friends?

The only one i know is Scribd.com and most of the stuff on that site is crap tbh. I want a website with loads of well know authors, I am espeicially interested in fantasy books and war books. Preferably free but i don't mind paying either. Many Thanks, Ben
