ok, my 95 mitsubishi eclipse non turbo 2.0l idle goes up and down really fast and when its a cold start sometimes it wont start until you give it a little gas,once that it warms up the idle problem starts to happen up and dowm ,up and down between 900 and 1000rpm's..

My car has a plastic cover (instead of a rubber boot like some other cars)on the back of the head light where the wiring would go through for the installation. My question is would I have to drill a hole through the plastic cover so that the wires can pass straight through or should I just leave...
