I'm trying to find an easier way to take TV episodes and re-edit them (for YTPs) and it takes too long and I get lower quality recording from my DVD player, and FRAPS has the frame rate at the top when I try to watch the clips, even when the program is closed.

Its a cop show and the season premier was on last night (jan 4th, 2011) and the show is on tnt but on the website of tnt there are no full episodes or anything and i checked on hulu and couldn't find it there either. i also checked my on demand on my charter box and it couldnt find it either...
