everyone receiving our faxes, say that they can hardly read them. Yet incoming faxes and photo copy's are clear. Is it our rollers that need cleaning >if so, is there an easy fix?

i have the triple play modem from cable. i want to hook up my home phone and my all in one printer fax to one line. when i hook both up wit a phone splitter the dial tone goes away. but when i hook each one by it self it works. im not sure if its the service, modem,splitter, or the printer.

I have a canon ir1022if printer, it does everything like fax, copy scan etc. In the back there are three places i can plug a phone line into, one says handset, one says ext and the other says line. To send a fax which one do i plug th phone line into?
