My family has been on Rcn's terrible dial up service for about 6-7 years. Would Verizon Fios make a difference if it were available for my location? Also, I am a gamer, so i need a good internet connection for xbox live or for PC gaming at least. Any help is appreciated!

Whenever I try to play something On Demand, the FiOS box resets itself and I am not able to view anything on demand...what's going on here? I don't know if this makes any difference, but I have a VCR/DVD Player hooked up to the TV from the box.. Thanks

My parents are considering switching over to verizon fios we have verizon internet and phones already. We could get that package deal phones iternet fios, w/e. Well what are the plus's and negative's with fios? and what are the plus's and negative's with DirecTv?

Just recently the hd picture seems very strange. Its not that the quality is bad, its just looks different. i don't know if they changed something with the resolution or what. it almost looks life every show is a soap opera or unedited film or something. any replies would be appreciated.

how do I sync the remote so that it turns the volume up and such without using the tv's actual remote??? i don't have the FIOS manuals anymore.! thanks :)
