I told my friend about it and he said that there is some software out that you can upload onto your computer and flash yourself i was wondering if anyone knew the name or names or them and how I can get a copy.     Why is the envelope flashing on my Nokia E52?

    What are the disadvantages of flashing a smart phone?

    I use MetroPCS. I love their low monthly rate but hate their phones. So I am thinking about buying a CDMA smart phone for another network from eBay, and then flash it over to MetroPCS. What are the disadvantages of flashing a smart phone? Does it compromise certain features, speed, etc?
