...back now that does not work? also starting problem cleaned choke it worked for couple days now intermediate starting problem and temp gauge flickers still think its resistor if so were would it be located, may be two problems resistor and choke

i just bought a 2000 volkswagen golf and the radio does not work at all, every light turns on exept the radio, no sound, nothing. i dint know if its the fuse in the fusebox. or maybe there is one behind the radio itself?
