The transmission is there, all gears work, but it's having trouble shifting. Sometimes during shifting, it doesn't fall on to the next gear and the revs go up as if it slipped. The best way to help it is to ease of the gas when it's about to switch to the next gear. I noticed the gears shift...
I own a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2wd/4wd. It has an automatic transmission. The gas mileage is terrible and I've read on the internet that by changing the gears would make a noticeable difference in the fuel economy of the vehicle. I was wondering how much money I would have to spend on the new...
...Now the car shakes? Now when I drive, the car shakes. What could possiblely be wrong?Did I mess up my transmission? And will this be an expensive thing to fix when I take it to the shop? Thanks.
rust OK? I used 80 grit on one gear after sealing off the bushing, then blew it off and cleaned it in solvent tank. It looks great, but are there case hardening issues or anything or is this OK to do?
That's the one thing I don't understand. I know that the higher the gear, the faster the car goes but why don't they make cars like sewing machines? Like the harder you press the pedal, the faster the car goes, the lighter you press , the slower it goes...
trail riding and daily drive? if i even need to put diff gears in it, and what are some good tires that will last on the road and trail, have tsl super swampers on it now
I want Gears of War 2 for the story but i'm in the middle between Left 4 Dead and COD 5 for online gameplay.
I'm a huge COD online fan but i have no idea about Left 4 Dead if that's a kind of online game play i want but Gears of War 2 sounds good too.
Which one is a better buy.

My truck will turn on no problem, but as i go to back it out or pull it forward it shuts off. I was told it was the spark plugs and wires, but i changed that and it still doesn't work. Anyone know what it could be?
You'll burn up the clutch and pressure plate by riding it for so long. The clutch is designed to be pushed in, then released in one smooth motion. It'll can get hot and burn up if you don't. Going through each gear (downshifting smoothly) also saves your brakes (brake pads and drums/disks)...
i know how but when i try it my dad always says "your doing it wrong" "your going to break it" the gear shifts are located on the steering wheel for people who know what i'm talking about.
