Im gettin a 360 tomoro and i want to know if i can play it

...needs a 60 Hz television? I have a 50 Hz television and want to get Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 but the packaging for Halo 3 says I need a 60 Hz television. What will happen if I attempt to play Halo 3 using a 50 Hz television?
