I am planning to buy a HD drive add-on for my xbox 360 but i'm not sure wether it plays regular DVD's in High definition.

I thought we would see HD-DVD's take #1 spot. So i bought X-box 360 w/ HD player w/ some movies. So now we are here w/ Blu-ray. Don't need 2 systems. So i was wondering if there is a way to convert. I know there is a way to burn and back up Blu-ray. Thx for read.
