hunting

im looking for a rifle that has the least amount of drop on the bullet. i like long shots at about 4 to 500 yrds. i had a 270 win and and a 7mm mag. i have shot pig out at 450 yrds with them but i wanna know is there any other good caliber out there that has that flat line shot.

I am new to hunting and will start next season. Looking for the best caliber of rifle.

I have a Daisy Powerline 35 .177 caliber (can shoot bbs and pellets). On the box it stated 625 fps max. Would this be a good rifle to hunt small animals (birds, rabbits, etc) or would it be only good for pest control?
