Well I have AVCware... and in it I can trim videos. First of all though I need to get my movie onto my computer so I can put in in there. Then I need to get it into imovie.

when i connect my VIDEO camera and have imovie opened it randomly opens iphoto and attempts to import there- however the files are unreadable in iphoto- how do i make the footage import to imovie as usual by usb cable!? it always works i dont know what's wrong! please help!
