I dont know how to install my aftermarket stereo and amp due to the fact that my 2000 Chevy Impala has a factory installed amp in it that is making things really complicated. Please Help!

I recently have gotten the choice between an 06 Pontiac G6 GT, or a 05 Chevy Impala, and i wanted to know which is faster. I know that the Impala has a 3.8 liter to the G6's 3.5 but I'm wondering if the G6 being slightly lighter if it would be faster.
