I got a Super Paper Mario iso file and burned it onto a DVD+R. I put it in the Wii and it didn't work. Is it the file, the Wii, or the disk. And do I need a mod chip?

I downloaded a game which is an ISO file but the problem is that i dont have a burner. The other option a friend told me i could choose was to mount the ISO file to a virtual drive. I have no idea how to do this and would like some serious help. Thanks in advance :)

what program do you use? I have read that iso's have a maximum capacity of 2 gigs. DVD's are usually 4.7 I believe. So is there another format that I should be trying?
I'm very familiar w/ torrents but haven't found any good sites that share .iso's of legally downloadable movies such as big buck bunny etc.. All the sites I frequent provide .mp4, .avi, .mov etc.

i've burned a few iso's onto dvds and i'm able to watch them on my computer, however, the problem is that i'm not able to watch them in any other dvd player. i've tried burning them in nero 10 and used about 5 other programs that promised dvds would be viewable in dvd players, no luck though...
