I am thinking of buying Kindle but I am here to hear your opinions. Here's a little background. I would like to have one that can make notes within the book and won't strain your eyes. Also I am on a budget so I don't one that every time I wish to read a book, I have to pay a lot.

With new update, Amazon's free Kindle app for Android adds new features including full text search, the ability to add notes and highlights and have them synchronized with other devices, voice search, Wikipedia lookup, and more.
For our (my brother and I) this year and next year's birthday and Christmas gift, we get to choose between an itouch, ipad or Kindle. Which one do you recommend getting? Please explain your answer. BTW, we are 12 years old.

Well, i bought the new Blackberry torch just about 3 four days ago, so i can;t download the kindle app! it says i can't due to my browser? It's set on Blackberry, but i don't know much to get into it. Please help.

children's learning in the future? Nobody will "write" anymore, we will type. I am old school like that. I value my books and I refuse to read them on a "machine." It is an art that will die and move on into this technology dependent world that we are living in. What do you think?

IDK. I'm a big fan of actually having the book in my hand but I can see the advantages of not having to wait until your book ships. How do you guys feel about it? Would it be bad for the eyes reading off of a screen for a long time?
