Will like it stop working if you drop it or somthing. I somtimes drop my phones and i don't want it to break/not work. Also if i'm snowboarding with it in my pocket will it break. Will the see-through screen crack or break off?

Im able to upgrade my phone in early april. I currently have the blackberry 8830 but the verizon service for blackberries is too expensive so im looking for a touch screen.
