I have a mkv file Is it possible to burn this file to a dual layer disc using a normal dvd+rw/dl burner? Or do I have to have a blueray burner, or will I have to convert it? I am about to try convertoxdvd, but will it still have the high quality?

I'm trying to layer paper mache onto a small case, so I can paint it white and then draw a design onto it. However, it keeps rising off the case when it dries! Any ideas/alternate methods? thanks
