How do you lock an LG cosmo, as in when it locks, you have to type a password in order to unlock it?

I really want to know how to do this because i lost my other phone Pantech Ease. So i wanted to know if there was a way to change the lock screen PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP MEE

I use windows 7 and I lock my computer while my stuff downloads and it works just fine. Just lock it! but don't hibernate the computer while the files are downloading.
