I wouldn't recommend it. I wish I wasn't in debt right now. Besides, I have had some bad luck with VWs but most people I know with them have had some of the same problems. For 30k I would look at the cheaper Lexuses or Acuras because what you pay up front will last quite a lot longer. However...
