i own a nissan maxima 2005 and i am having problems when i drive for a long time in the city the transmission puts in second gear hard and sometimes it loses the gear i think it might be a problem with one tof the sensors. i would like to know what sensor could be causing this problem?

Need a 4 speed transmission from a 2004 Maxima rebuilt. But not sure how much it should cost.

...or tiptronic? I hear rumors of Nissan giving the maxima a little bog in the lower gear for the CVT. I wonder if punching the peddle to let the CVT do the work is faster or slower than manual controlling the gears with the paddle shifter...

...does the security system work? My security light is solid when the key is on accessory or on, but when it's off it flashes. That's all it does. It never stops flashing or turns solid. This car has nothing wrong with it, needs nothing done to it, (clutch timing belt...) and has 180,000 KM not miles KM. Any ideas what people would pay? It is fully loaded heated leather seats winter and summer tires. I think it has every option available.

Q45? I can get either one for $75 through local salvage yard. I need to know if it's the same model as the factory changer in either cars in the title by Wednesday. My Q45 has the stock CD changer controller in the head unit but no changer itself.

MY 2000 Maxima doesnt have fog lights and where the lights are supposed to be it is just covered up, Any idea where i can find the socket(?) or what ever i need to install there and where i can go for them to install it in for me, Thanks in advance!
