it's weird. the samsung sgh-a687 will flash text messages for like 2 seconds, but then it'll immediately default to a "no text" message when I read them. I have a data plan and everything, but it's just weird. Help please! I've already reset the phone to the factory setting =/

I tried clicking "More" but the "Mark [all]" option isn't available and I don't want to erase them all manually - I have over 1000 sent items there! Yes this is an old phone, I'm just using this as an extra phone and most of the messages are really old.
