Ok so i am playing black ops and i plug in my mic/headphone and i can hear other people mics through it but i cant hear the game play through it (footsteps,guns,voices, etc) i have the input output set to the headphones aswell if that makes a difference

i bought the blackops headset obviously, got it all set up correctly and what not, read the instructions, everythings plugged in. when i play the game the sound in the head set is great, surround sound and everything i love it, but when i plug in the mic it doesnt work. my mic icon shows up next...

So i got the new ps3 bluetooth microphone 2.0 and when i go to Settings>accessory settings>audio device. The micophone volume doesnt go more then 3. People are saying they cant hear me but when i try to put it to level 4 or 5 its doesnt let me.
