I have a 2001 GMC sierra, 5.3 V8, 4-WD, SLT, extended cab, short bed truck. I want to increase the gas mileage on it. Could I just get a bigger tank if it would fit? What's the best thing to do?

I have already replaced the spark plugs, air filter, sprayed carb cleaner in the carb, and ran some lucus injector cleaner in the gas. I'm only getting 10-11 mpg city and 12-12.5 highway.

Besides Craigslist is there any other site should I look at? I can't afford a brand new car now these day but won't mind a really decent one. Please let me know. Thanks! Gio (NY)
