I'm looking at buying a 1987 Mistubishi Montero. It has 170k miles. New tires, battery, and radiator. It has the Strait 4 (I believe it's the 2.0L) motor. Is this a reliable vehicle? What issues do these usually have?

...the overheat line? Why does the temp gauge move up to the overheat line when the car is idling? I just had the thermostat and water pump replaced but the temp gauge fluctuates to the overheat line on idle mode. However, once car is running again the temp gauge goes to normal (middle). Thanks!

Thought it was the coil pack replaced it and theres no spark to any, put in new crankshaft sensor, still wont turn over
