...defective internal.........? .......It comes with Nero software. They stated the software is incompatible with Vista but you can download an update off of Nero's website. Just wondering how it works with Vista.

I burn a lot of movies with Nero Vision and I would really like to be able to pre-transcode the files before burning. Is this possible? Id like to avoid the long wait of the transcoding process and just burn. Is there a certain file type it transcodes it too? Thanks! Hope I explained myself...
