ok now email is fine but the text messaging is not working I can send but the person that I send it to doesnt recieve the message and I dont recieve thier text messages at all either.Can someone help

I have a Nextel I880 cell phone and I can't seem to transfer ringer messages to my ringtones.My uncle can do it on his nextel but I cant seem to figure it out is there a way to transfer them? Thanks........Michael
