when I try to pull up my notifications it says 601 parsor error. its been doing this for 2 months and its driving me crazy, the app comes pre installed with the phone and it wont let me delete it and download it again. is anyone else having this problem???

I have a 32G, 3rd Generation iTouch and when I got it the app for AIM was working fine, letting me know when I had a new IM and whatnot..now I have issues with it, when I click on the app and open it, it refreshes and gives me all of my IM's at the same time, some hours old to a few minutes ago...
