    Is there any way to make the internet work on my phone overseas with a new SIM card?

    I got my phone in the USA and got it unlocked and put a new SIM card in it. The texting, calls and everything works but I can't connect to the internet. Is there any way to fix this. It says "Service Unavailable".

    Why does my cellphone from overseas not work sometimes?

    I have an LG Viewty from overseas and when i put in an at&t sim card it works fine in New York, Boston and most places. But when i go to the country (central new york) it does not work when all other at&t phones do!!!

    I will be spending the upcoming semester in London, and I was hoping that I would be able to use the alarm on my cell phone so I don't have to buy one.
