    P2P programs problem under Windows XP SP3. Can you help me solve it?

    The thing is.. that in my Windows XP with Service Pack 3 the P2P programs (Ares, eMule, Limeware, etc.) just dont work. But my torrent programs do (uTorrent; BitTorrent). Is there a way to get it work without unninstalling SP3??

    By using p2p file sharing such as limewire, Bearshare, Ares, etc. are you actually effecting the bands by downloading their music for free? Are they actually losing money?

    For some reason lately my Ares isn't working, and neither is my Limewire. I also tried Frostwire and some other one and nothing. My dad says maybe it has something to do with our connection but I never used to have problems with downloading music.

    how do I unblock the ports on a Mac, so I can use a p2p program?
