i bought a audi r8 on need for speed shift and the carbon fiber panel on the audi r8 ( that is on the side of the car) i want to paint a different colour to the car but it wont let me any1 got any advise

The cd player is a jensen HD5313. Everything works correctly the display works and everything but the lights to all the buttons do not come on. i have checked fuses, wiring, and i reset the unit several times and it still wont light up.
I previously downloaded the new DivX Plus (don't do it) and it didn't work so i deleted it. However, the DivX Plus control panel is still on my computer even though DivX Plus isn't. Simple question: how do i get rid of it? Thanks
NB: I tried the usual right-click, delete method but it didn't work
i have a nvidia gt 220 (i blieve) and i was having trouble with bad visual tearing but i turned vertical sync-force on from the Nvidia control panel and it solved all my problems, i just want to make sure that keeping this on will not harm the graphics card or the pc at all
