I'm due for an upgrade on my mobile (I'm with T-Mobile in the UK but it doesn't have to be them) and I'm forever scribbling notes on pieces of paper; shopping lists, solution to problems, ideas for short stories etc.

How do I downgrade from the horrible IE7 to IE6? I bought my copy online for $50.00 and it's service pack 3, Professional. I tried using the methods on Google but Windows XP just ended up deleting Outlook Express, not that clunky browser.
I know I cant delete it through cell phone, since it is a protected file....
