in less than 5 mins the temeture gauge shoots up to 260 it idles weird it will go high then low it dies at a stop but it doesnt when my foots on th gas and brake please help me

No where in the 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix Manual is anything called a MALL PGM fuse. My Keyless Remote will not work and I've read posts saying I need to replace the MALL PGM fuse, but there is no such thing on the fuse panel layout or the manual itself. Please Help!!

It's located under that vent, between the windshield and the hood.
There should be a few screws too release it and lift it up, to access
your wiper motor.

I have 97 Grand Prix with the 3.8 V6 engine and at random times when I start the car up it will not accelerate past 20 km/hr or go past 1600 RPM. Although if I keep pressing on and off the throttle the RPMS will move up and down. I have a feeling it is the TPS, any other ideas?
