if i download them on a usb drive is there a way to play them off of my ps3? my ps3 is 60gb.

is Sony a good dvd-r decision to have for my backup games stored on it?? I already have the original game but i leave them in the case and i just put the backup games on dvd-r to play. Also, is it a good decision for putting home made videos on them??

The game was a 2 dimensional game where you would move up down/left right on the screen as a colorful little character, penguin, small girl riding missile etc.. you'd shoot enemies coming from the right of the screen and the levels were all very colorful and filled with dramatic music, any ideas?
