omg i dont know what i did but its asking to enter a puk code, what do i do?

...am blocked! what do i do? Anyone have a solution for me?

So i was playing around with my pin number since i didnt know what would happen so i just kept trying to change it and i got my phone locked. I called ATT to get my PUK number and they sent it to me but they tell me at the idle screen to press * and stuff and i only have the basic 123456789#...

what do i say if i need my puk code for t mobile.. im going to call... like what do i say ore ask them.. (exact words)

i accidentally typed the puk code 10 times and it stop working

Im with optus, i dont know wat to do. Is the best way to find the code by calling them? If so wat do they ask you?
