Battery light came on earlier this week with squealing fan belt. Then lost Power stearing. Called breakdown people and they said alternator problem, Changed alternator and still no power steering - any ideas please.

i want to have a go my self ive never done it befor (apart from air filter n oil change )but thought as it was an old cheap car it would be a good one to av a go on n try my hand at it , apart from air oil and fuel filter what else may need doing it runs ok but not the greatest someone mentioned...

i have a s reg punto which revs normal to 3500 rpm open the throttle it dies and sounds like something is restricting the airflow any ideas it is a single point carburetor ! coil pack ecu lambada i was wondering if anyone else has suffered this problem?

ive got a mk 1 punto ,in 4th gear it started making a whingeing/whistling noise but over the last week its started doing it in 2nd and 3rd gear any ideas what this mite be and a rough price on fixing it?

It happened suddenly, my lights, cabin fan and wipers stoped working, second ago they were ok. I checked fuse box in cabin and fuse box under the hood, they are ok. What could cause this problem? Thanks in advance for answers!

It's a 2 door car and the seat belts are a long way back and I'm little so the seat belt cuts into me. Does anyone know what I should buy to make the seal belt feel less painful. I've tried wrap around pads but they're not very good . I went to Halfords and they weren't helpful at all. Thanks
