    I have a 89 ranger xlt 5 speed It has a 2.3 engine. I bought a transmission from a 89 and it did not match my tranny at all. My transmission is fairly big and does not have the shifter at the very back like the one i bought. Any ideas on what transmission i need? Thanks

    My husband just bought new clamps for his battery in his 1991 ford ranger.?
