I find that the traditional rabbit ear antennas work better than any other indoor antennas. I have a rabbit ear antenna and also a bow-tie antenna, but the question is, if I bought one more bow-tie antenna, will that give me a better reception, or it won't make any difference?

...antenna to boost the reception? I live on an island and the only option I have to get broadband is the 3 mobile broadband but the network coverage is very weak where I live. Can I install an aerial or something to improve the signal. Thanks for your help, Cathal
I currently have TW Cable (San Diego) and have such problems with noise, especially if I'm recording at the same time. I'm thinking of switching to Satellite. If you've had both, which do you prefer? I'm asking about quality of reception only, not channel choices.

Thanks

I live in central west new south wales and wish to access am radio in Sydney without using the internet, even though I have internet but find it distracts me from my internet work, plus the volume is too low. I'm thinking short wave radio. Any cheap suggestions. The local radio is rubbish.
