I have a DVR system with Direct Tv and I wish to put them onto my computer. what do I need to do?

My sound recordings on my Palm Centro phone take up like 30% of my internal memory. How can I move them from my phone to my sd card, or simply somewhere else, like my computer. Thanks!

I need to unplug my Motorola HD PVR briefly to move it. With the loss of power will my recorded programs be automatically deleted/lost? Or, will it still have them saved?
