well, I just ran through the whole process once and at the end, redsn0w says the rest of this process takes place on your device, my device was half on for about 10 minutes then turned off and nothing happened after I rebooted it. any fix?

I get to the step where you hold power for 3 seconds, and then while holding power you hold home for 10 seconds and let go of power and so on. Windows says its detecting DFU mode connection or w.e. but the redsn0w installer says I failed to put my phone in DFU mode. What is the problem?
