Recently while driving down the road, my DRL (Daytime Running Lights) began to flicker and then shut off. Since then, everytime I start the car and put it into gear, the DRL flicker and shut off. The clicking noise they made when they flickered turned out to be the DRL relay that is in the fuse...

I checked the cooling fan / blower relay for my 1995 4cyl 2.0L Ford Probe and it is indeed defective (it doesnt click). I have not been able to locate a proper replacement for it, just the universal stuff that isnt quite so universal. The relay has 5 horizontal connectors, in the pattern below...

my blikkers don't blink, they remain steady.

I put a jumper on the num 5 and 7 wires at the relay unpluged turned on ignition and had voltage at the three prong plug under the rear seat. replaced the relay and still no power. both fuses good. didnt ground the new relay cause the scamatics didnt show this (free plugged it without the bolt)...

And now my automatic gear shift is really hard to pull into gear..rev,net and drive mostly..it gets harder to pull the closer u get to drive??? We only changed the relay nothing else even had to be unplugged??? Not sure how to fix..the way i can describe it best is like when u have ur brakes...
