I Have a D-10 military blazer (cucv) I installed a new Vacuum pump, trans modulator and a shift kit (really just higher pump pressure spring) The truck shifted at 20-23 mph and 30-34 mph. Good firm shifts and no problems. One night it started not to up shift till 45 mph and then at 60 mph. I...
...chevy z71 120,000 miles? I have to push on the gas very slowly or the rpm's will go all the way to 4000 rpm's before switching out of first gear. Also when I go 70 mph my rpm's stay just above 3000 rpm's. What do you think?
the engine seems smooth in first gear and second and then when i am cruising in 5th gear at 1500-1800 rpm about 40-45 mph. the engine seems to be shaking or vibrating. i notice this from my steering wheel. It shakes at that speed and rpm speed. but after that there is no vibration. And its...
HI
sounds like your having timing problems.. or its not getting fuel.. if it just bogs down I'd think on the not getting fuel ... if it miss and back fires then I'd say timing..
good luck

1987 Nissan 300zx non-turbo 168k miles. I cleaned and degreased the engine which is what I believe has caused these issues: At first it would just stall while idling. Now it won't rev over 2000 rpm but idles fine. It caused me to pull over on the shoulder of the road near my school this morning...
I took out Pop's brand new 2009 Lexus IS250 for a drive because he was out of the country... though I was careful at first, later that night I drove 120 mph coming back home. I'm now worried that I could have voided the warranty. May someone please give me information about this!?

is there a good engineering site online to shop around for components?
I suppose the motor would just have to be in the 20,000 range (it doesn't have to be exactly specific) and be able to attach a digital variable speed dial type thing
would Radio Shack have stuff like this?
