how can i find out if i have to many programs on my pc or to many unwanted programs on mypc, and how do i take them off.

hi i had a malware infection (the system security 2009). i was able to get rid of most of the virus after countless hours.. but ever since i had some problems with the computer, but now the only problem i have is that the boot time takes longer... i used Combofix and it seem to get rid of it...

When i press the scan button, it says Scanning papers to Microsoft Word for about 2 minutes, then it says No Connection, turn on or connect computer or install HP software.

im using the Malwarebytes' anti-malware to find and get rid of the virus on my computer, its been searching for over 2 and a half hours and has found 14 infected objects, is it taking to long? should i just close it and find another virus scan thing.

I have scanned a document. It is a table with letters and numbers. It's showing up as a picture in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard and won't let me run OCR. But I need to convert it to a spreadsheet in Excel so I can further analyse it. Is there a way to do this?
