I have taken the car to the garage, and they have told me that the fuel pump seal is broken, but they want a lot (£££'s) to get a new pump. Can I change the pump for a second-hand one (breakers yard) or even just change the seal? Any help would be appreciated!

I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu SS and last night were trying to replace the rear brake pads and the cylinder is stuck outward. In trying to get it to go in, the seal got wrecked. Is there a seal, or repair kit for this, or do I need a whole new cylinder?
