Has anybody had this probem and what was the cause?
At 1st it started just being difficult to get out of park so I had to warm the car up for like 5-10 minutes before I could press the button. Now the button won't even press down to shift to any gears. Just stays in park only.
As I was driving down a bumpy road, my 1990 Cadillac Seville which had just gotten out of the shop (they removed the idle control motor to fix the constant acceleration problem) suddenly went dark.
Everything just shut off with an audible *click*. I mean the DIC, the entire electronic display...
