I have an 89 Yamaha Exciter. The disk brake seems a little loose, the drive shaft is secure, and the secondary clutch slides in and out a little bit but doesn't shake. Is this normal? Also if my chaincase is burning up, is that oil? Thanks

1500 4x4? When I'm in 2WD there's a grinding noise and a vibration. Someone said that its definetly stripped splines and that I need to replace the affected cv shaft and the stub shaft from the differential. How much am I looking at spending?
im no expert at suspensions but if i raise up my xj wont i need a longer drive shaft since the rear axle and differential will be farther away from the tranny. i know they have slipjoints and it will have some travel but not sure how much. and if you need to know i have a 87 jeep cherokee laredo...
The engine is on the bench, the trap door is out and the chain & sprocked cover are off. The gearcase has to be opened up again to shim the cam gears. Drift out? hydraulic press? hot/cold? Push old ones out with the new ones?
My car won't start! I got a diag. computer and it told me that I had a bad Crank shaft position sensor, I have no idea where this is on my car and I would hate to start tearing into it blindly

They can travel up the hair shaft fast, especially if you use harsh products and lot of heat styling everyday.
Best thing to do is to trim them off! :)
