I went on a long ride yesterday and today my upper back and shoulders are killing me. I also went over many bumps and my tailbone hurts. How can I prevent this? What am I doing wrong?

me and 3 other guys were thinking about going snowmobiling over presidents day weekend. we are looking for a place that we can drive or get cheap airfare to from Columbus OH. we want to rent the snowmobiles and be unguided. also, my son is 14, so will he be able to drive too?
