I was wondering what do people see in Bill? I am in love with Eric & Sookie being together. Why do people feel otherwise? What are your thoughts on Bill and Eric?

I keep hearing about this person. Who is he/she and what does he/she stand for? Are they an actual person or a character of some sort?

On most of the novels, there is a dark haired vampire on the cover. I cant seem to figure out who he is suppose to be. Is he suppose to be bill? Doesn't bill have sideburns? Thanks in advance!
