I have a Q7 4.2 tdi which I have had from new and it eats tyres, starting with the shoulders and a 10/12000 miles they have to be replaced. I have fitted Firestone, Yokohama and now Bridgestone, any ideas? Audi know its a problem but are in denial!

My landrover has been blowing blue smoke and keeps losing power. I pull over and start off again and its fine for a distance till i accelarate on 2000 revs then dies again. There are no distinctive knocks or bangs. Please could anyone help.

currently? im sure it can be done but i mean can it be mounted right in and bolt to the tranny without a big risk of a problem. the 305 ci tdi is from an '89 caprice auto. the car im curious about putting it in is an '83 camero 5 speed with a 305 ci engine currently
