Can someone out there drive their Vectra (2.0Ltr Diesel)around for 30mins or so while they're out and then tell me what the running temperature gauge is reading. I'm a little unsure of what it should be reading and just need some confirmation that mine is correct. Thanx in advance.

it always is pointed up, what's up? The needle is not working on the gauge, it points staight up, obviously it's not overheating otherwise the engine would have smoked up by now, could it be a thermostat?

we fixed the radiator ,put new coolant and water in it. we put a new thermastat in it too.gadge says hot and the heater blows cold now.
