When I get a text message my phone just vibrates with no tone..and ive tried changing the tone over and over.And my phones ringtone does the same thing sometimes..any idea why our what I can do?

Okay, so I have a Samsung Reality, and I used to be able to put ringtones on it by sending them from my email, but now when I send them it removes the attachment and there's no way to save it. I've tried connecting it as the Mass Storage and copying them into the folder, but that doesn't work...
My dad just got an evo 4g and he's trying set a custom notification tone aka text tone but it won't stay. We have tried changing it to another default but its not working. It stays on the same tone. What should we do?

i have an iphone 4... n as we all know, with the iphone its not possible to send downloaded tones or anything of that nature over a text... i was just wondering if it was possible??
I've tried Playnow and also Orange but they have limited text message tones and nothing I like. I was looking for the Transformers message alert (noise they make when the robots transform) but I'd like to look through a good range of other tones from TV/films if anyone knows a good site...
